After taking down Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals, Florida State softball geared up to face Georgia Tech for the first time this season. In the semifinal game, Mimi Gooden was the starting pitcher for FSU.
For her 10th start of the season, Gooden had a one out single and an error had two runners on for the Yellow Jackets. Gooden was able to handle an out herself before a hit by pitch loaded the bases. A wild pitch brought in the first run, and a tag out at home ended the top of the 1st.
